Pastor Dennis – A True Miracle of God
For those who are not aware, Pastor Dennis died Nov. 8th, 2022, and was revised in his driveway after approximately 15 minutes of work by some awesome EMS/Fire Fighters. At the ER he was put on full life support as it was not clear what had happen. He did test for Covid, Type A Flue, he had aspirated and was septic in every organ of his body, complete kidney failure, he had pneumonia and had a heart attack two days later. After 7 days in Duncan’s ER he was med flight to Mercy Hospital to be put on dialyses, but praise God, He heard the cries of those surrounding the hospital praying. By the time he got to Mercy hospital his kidneys begin functioning enough to hold off as they kept a close eye on them, which they did for 3 weeks, at which time he was transported to Inspire Specialty hospital where he remained 1 month attempting some sort of therapy as he had been dragonized as a complete Quadriplegic and was paralyzed from the neck down. After some success he was excitedly b transported back to his home town for 2 months at Pathways Physical Rehab center. As of May 2023 he had made enough improvement that he was discharged to home health care and 2 months later to out patient. He was finally diagnosed with Guillain Barr’ Syndrome at Mercy. He was paralyzed from the neck down for 3 months, had a tracheotomy and “could not talk”, imagine that. Guillain Barra destroys the nervous system crippling it’s victims. Stress overload! Rehab has been an excruciating journey as this terrible enemy completely destroys your nervous system and Dennis has had to learn everything all over. Things like lifting and moving fingers, lifting his arms, feeding himself etc. But praise God that Jesus had the final say and raised him back to life! As of July 17th, 2023 he is making, what we believe to be a full recovery.
At this stage he’s learning to walk again. He’s in out patient therapy and has slowly graduate to a cane. Keep up your prayers and thank you for all your the financial support. Update: After several months of improvement, and because of continued health related issues accruing from the GBS, pastor Dennis had emergency surgery to remove 20 inches of colon and 10 inches of scar tissue do to a perforated colon caused from diverticulitis which we were unaware of. During the healing process pastor spent 4 months with a colon ostomy bag and because of complication had need of an ileostomy bag 3 more months and months more physical therapy. As of now, January 2, 2025, Pastore is about 80% recovered, discharged from all out patient therapy and he continues at Planate fitness for his therapy. Pastor, along with a church, city, and hospital doctor staff, know beyond a doubt that the had of God saved his life 3 different times. He’s been so septic 3 times its baffled doctors how he’s alive. Since Nov. 8th, 2022 he’s been in 7 hospitals, 7 therapy’s, and 20 months away from home. Now for the second time in his life he’s off disability and at 67 doing what he loves pastoring the church he and his wife birthed in Oct. 2010, prison and jail ministry, and continuing developing more reintegration homes!

BELOW IS PASTOR DENNIS’ VIDEO INVITATION TO RECOVERY CHURCH MADE 8 MONTHS BEFORE HIS BODY WAS ATTACK. AT ONE POINT HIS WIFE WAS ENCOURAGED TO TAKE HIM OFF LIFE SUPPORT! SOME THINGS MENTIONED HAVE CHANGED BUT HIS WIFE, A WOMENS PASTOR HERSERLF, HAS STEPPED UP AND THINGS ARE MOVING FORWARD AND THE CHURCH HAS ACTUALLY GROWN IN A COUPLE AREAS! WE HAVE TRMENDOUS PARTNERS AND THOSE LOYAL FAMILY MEMBERS WHO BELIEVE IN THEIR PASTORS AND THEIR VISION ARE INCREDIBLE
